A game for little girls is a Juggernaut in creating music, remixes and memes
You might remember Touhou from such memes as: 'McRoll', and 'Marisa Stole the Precious Thing'. It is a series of games from the category appropriately named 'Bullet Hell'. There are twelve Bullet Hell games so far, five released on the PC-98, the rest on Windows, two fighting games, two photography games and a number of spin-offs including Role Playing Games and soccer. Over a hundred characters appear in the games. The programming, images, and music are all done by one man: ZUN. The music is more popular than the game itself, considering the insane level of skill it takes to beat it.
'Bad Apple!!' comes from the forth game, Lotus Land Story, and has been given a techno remix and lyrics sung by nomico in Masayoshi Minoshima's album Lovelight. This remix was then given a music video with slick shadow animations of a number of characters. They go together so smoothly, it's a sight to behold.
How many characters can you name? Anyone who can name 20 characters and when they appear, without cheating and looking at the wiki, can give me a music topic they want me to write about. I got 22, not counting the main characters.
